Tara Waller has first hand experience with the foster care system, due to her previous roles of a Child Protective Services and Youth Services worker in West Virginia. She gained extensive experience with trauma and medical illnesses as a PEDS/PICU Social Worker at a Level 1 trauma hospital. In her free time, she enjoys being with her cats and dogs, reading, writing, crocheting, and traveling. She finds her true passion is assisting children and teens break intergenerational cycles of trauma and providing a safe place for kids to express themselves.

Furthermore, they use evidence-based therapies to assist clients in building coping strategies and fostering emotional well-being. By providing services in easily accessible locations, such as schools or homes, the program ensures that individuals consistently receive the support they need to thrive. As a result, this improves their overall quality of life and emotional health.
