Impact Living Services offers a myriad of services to foster positive outcomes for youth, families, and communities. Over the years, we’ve strived to cultivate programs where everyone can receive the quality of support they deserve. Though our line-up of services has evolved over time, the heartbeat behind our why has stayed the same. We care about improving the lives of the people we serve — and we do whatever we can to create better outcomes for disenfranchised communities.

Our Values

We aren’t afraid to shake things up. When we see an opportunity to create real change, we take it. But no matter what, we stay true to our values. Our values motivate us to inspire positive action, and while we welcome innovation, we pride ourselves on holding to our core motivations.

Our History

2012

Impact Living Services (ILS) was created by a team of professionals who had the audacious goal of changing outcomes in foster care and families. The status quo was simply unacceptable — so our founder set out to forge an independent living program like no other, headquartering in Lynchburg, Virginia.

 

2012-2023

As we continued to empower our clients, we saw a need to expand our services. So that’s exactly what we did. We added treatment-based foster care placements, plus resources for families interested in fostering. We incorporated mentorship programs. We did what we had to do for the good of our clients. And all the while, we grew outside of just Lynchburg, spreading throughout Virginia.

2024 and Beyond

As we look to the future, Impact Living Services will continue to focus on making earthquakes that change the lives of vulnerable community members. We will continue to remain adaptable, but steady, with compassion at the forefront of everything we do.
