Meet Our Dedicated Therapist
We are proud to have Kindal Dahlby, a Licensed Mental Health Professional Resident (LMHP-R), leading our counseling services in Appomattox. Kindal brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to fostering positive change in the lives of her clients. She is passionate about working with adults with Trauma either from childhood or adulthood and substance abuse. Along with being an LPC, Kindal is a certified substance abuse counselor resident (CSAC-R) and trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
Accessible and Flexible Payment Options
Understanding that financial considerations can be a barrier to accessing mental health services, we have structured our payment options to be as accommodating as possible:
- Medicaid: We accept Anthem, Aetna, and Sentara (Optima) at our Appomattox location.
- Private Insurance: Aetna, Anthem, Cigna and Sentara (Optima)
- Self-Pay: Services are available at a rate of $75 for sessions with a resident counselor.
- Additional Support: CSA/EBA and sliding scale options are available to ensure affordability.
We are committed to working with each client to find a payment plan that suits their financial situation.
