About Stefanie Musser
Education: Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Eastern Mennonite University, currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at Goshen College
Professional Specialties: Working with families and individuals in the child welfare system
Since 2017, Stefanie Musser has been dedicated to serving families and children involved in the child welfare system. She began her career as a Treatment Foster Care Specialist, where she developed a strong understanding of the connection between trauma and brain development. Additionally, she recruited and trained foster parents, helping them feel confident and prepared in their roles. Later, at the Department of Social Services, Stefanie expanded her experience by working in both the Child Protective Services and Prevention units. Through these roles, she gained a deeper perspective on supporting families through challenging times. Moreover, Stefanie remains committed to building trust, offering guidance, and promoting resilience in those she serves. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children. Furthermore, when she finds a quiet moment, she loves to unwind by reading a good book. Her passion and experience continue to shape her meaningful impact on families.
About Independent Living
Impact Living Services’ Independent Living program provides essential support for youth transitioning out of foster care into adulthood. With a focus on helping individuals build independence, the program offers a variety of resources, including housing, education, and employment assistance. Additionally, participants receive life skills training in areas like financial literacy and time management, all while being empowered to thrive. By offering comprehensive guidance and support, Impact Living Services ensures these young adults have the tools they need to succeed. Through this program, they foster independence, confidence, and a positive path toward adulthood.
