Meet Rachel Peterson

Education: BS in Psychology from James Madison University; MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University

Professional Specialties: Anxiety, ADHD, Conduct Disorders, Depression, Grief, Interpersonal Relationship Troubles, and Trauma

Rachel Peterson is an experienced counselor who has worked in case management, providing services to children and their families. She has also supported children, adolescents, and adults through outpatient counseling, helping clients navigate a range of emotional and behavioral challenges.

Rachel is passionate about creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment where individuals feel safe to explore their experiences, deepen self-awareness, and work toward personal growth. Her person-centered approach emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and empowerment.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys going on walks, eating ice cream, and spending time with her two dogs, Ace and Kenny.
