About Julie Palmer

Education: BA in Psychology from Lenoir-Rhyne University; MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University
Professional Specialties: Focus on Child-led Play Therapy for Children & Reens, Chronic Illness in Youth, Parenting Challenges, Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health & Trauma, Social Skills, Identity Issues and Emotional Dysregulation in Youth and Management of Mental Health Symptoms with all Age Groups.

Julie Palmer brings over 18 years of experience in various settings. This includes home visiting, parent education, intensive in-home care, mental health skill building, and case management. Additionally, she finds joy in spending quality time with family and friends, continuously learning, trying out new recipes, and escaping into the world of movies. Furthermore, Julie fosters a nurturing therapeutic space where individuals can feel free to be themselves. Her goal is to encourage them to unmask and embark on a transformative journey of self-exploration, learning, and personal growth.

  • Self-Pay Rate:
    First Appointment (Comprehensive Needs Assessment) – $200.00
    Self Pay Rate (Subsequent Sessions) – $170.00

Impact Living Services’ Counseling Program provides tailored therapeutic support to individuals and families in need of mental health services. The program offers flexible, community-based care designed to address various emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. Licensed therapists and skilled interns work closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans, using evidence-based therapies to help them build coping strategies and foster emotional well-being. By offering services in easily accessible locations like schools or homes, the program ensures that individuals receive the support they need to thrive, improving their quality of life.
