Christy earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications from Liberty University, an institution deeply connected to her family’s history. Her family moved to Lynchburg in 1973 to help establish the university. Today, Christy serves as Liberty University’s Executive Event Director, leading events such as the CEO Summit that help create pathways for students to pursue high-level corporate opportunities. Throughout her career, she has helped launch four nonprofit organizations and has served on the boards of two others.
Christy is passionate about helping people reach their full potential by using her experience, relationships, and resources to help them access opportunities they may not have reached on their own. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, learning “nerdy” new things, and finding ways to support others. Her greatest passion is her family, including her husband of over 30 years, Jeff, and their three children, who serve others through careers in the medical, mental health, and business fields.
