Christmas Wishlist 2024: A Season of Generosity and Joy
As the year comes to a close, we at Impact Living Services are overwhelmed with gratitude for the
incredible support shown through our Christmas Wishlist 2024 program. This initiative embodies the spirit of giving, and this year’s success is a testament to the power of community.
With over 95 sponsors—ranging from individuals and families to churches and businesses—we were able to bring holiday cheer to 124 youth and children. The generosity extended to:
- 110 youth in our Independent Living (IL) program.
- 10 children in Treatment Foster Care (TFC) homes.
- 4 babies belonging to IL youth.
The Power of Thoughtful Giving
Gift cards topped the wish list this year, offering flexibility and empowerment to recipients. The most unique request? A bright pink set of pots and pans, lovingly fulfilled by our amazing partners at Stroobants Cardiology.
This program isn’t just about gifts; it’s about creating connections and showing youth that their community values them. Many sponsors have a personal connection to foster care—some are former foster parents, while others grew up in fostering families. Their involvement adds an extra layer of meaning to this initiative.
Looking Ahead
The generosity doesn’t stop with gifts. A few members from All Saints Church, who participated this year, will lead life skills training for our Independent Living youth in 2025. This long-term commitment ensures that the support offered today has a lasting impact on these young lives.
