Marjim Smith has over 20 years of experience working in the Department of Corrections, Juvenile Corrections/Detention, Independent Living, and Mental Health Skill Building. She has also served with Child Protective Services, conducting family assessments and investigations into allegations of child abuse and neglect. Marjim’s expertise lies in listening, expressing empathy, providing resources, and encouraging individuals and families from various backgrounds. Her passion for helping others shines through her work, especially when it comes to protecting children and their right to a safe and happy childhood. In her free time, Marjim enjoys spending time with her two boys, traveling, exercising, and attending church. She believes her calling is to be a helper, and her dedication to safeguarding children’s innocence is at the heart of everything she does.
