Since 2012, Impact Living Services has answered the call to change the “aging out” crisis of the foster care system. Our independent living program has helped hundreds of youth (ages 17-20) throughout Virginia beat the odds against homelessness, joblessness, and incarceration by helping them to transition into adulthood with security, stability, and a strong support system. Our behavioral health team has provided life-changing counseling services to thousands, and our growing therapeutic foster care program is placing some of the most vulnerable children in our communities into safe, supportive homes.

In order to continue meeting the needs of these at-risk populations, WE NEED YOUR HELP! Impact Living Services has successfully operated with a fiscally sound and sustainable fee-for-service model since its inception. As the needs of at-risk children and families are growing at an unprecedented rate, we have decided to begin raising funds for the first time in our organization’s history. The needs are urgent, and your partnership will play a direct role in changing outcomes for at-risk youth and families. Click here to find out what you can do to help.

$250

This fund helps set up an apartment for youth aging out of foster care. We provide them with towels, sheets, pots pans, and other essential items needed to start their new life off strong.

Housing

$1000+

Our big goal at Impact is to eventually own all the spaces we currently rent for the youth aging out of foster care. By doing this, it allows us to scholarship more youth and allows us to take money we would have spent on rent and put it into foster care prevention services.
